About the role
As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme you will be supporting elderly who are finding it difficult to cope due to physical frailty, enabling them to maintain their individuality and vital independence.
You'll help residents with restricted mobility to move to dining areas at meal times, communal areas for social activities, and to the privacy of their bedrooms and bathrooms at their request.
You’ll assist with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing, noting the importance of privacy and dignity. You will also take part in physical and mental stimulation by joining recreational and social activities with residents, always with a kind smile and supportive word, even on challenging days.

* Pay rates: £12.90 weekdays and £13.20 weekend days
* Shifts: Every Monday 3pm‑10pm; Every Tuesday and Thursday 9:30am‑3pm; Alternate Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 7am‑3pm
