What will be expected from me?
The purpose of this role is to support our Residential Care Unit and provide person-centred care and support for our residents. You will be expected to work across all three of our care homes upon request. These care homes are:
* Hazelgarth – Hazel Garth/Hazel Rd, Knottingley WF11 0LG
* Dovecote Lodge – Dovecote Ln, Horbury, Wakefield WF4 6DJ
* Flanshaw Lodge – 102 Flanshaw Ln, Wakefield WF2 9JE
What would I be doing?
* You will within the Residential Care Unit and provide person-centred care and support for the residents within this unit.
* You will communicate the needs of service users to management and maintain good relations between service users, staff, and visitors to the unit.
* You will enable the service users in the unit to maintain or regain their independence, individuality, and dignity.

Essential requirements:
* NVQ 2 in Social Care or working towards.
* An understanding of Safe manual handling techniques.
* Knowledge of Safeguarding Adults.
