Role and Location
Practice Nurse – Boston. Part‑time roles available – 13 hours per week. Self‑employed contracts also available. Competitive salary/package, dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide assessment, screening, and treatment services to patients.
* Advise patients on general healthcare and minor ailments, referring to GPs when appropriate.
* Collect, store, and dispatch pathological specimens in line with practice protocols.
* Support administrative and professional responsibilities, including QOF management and clinical audits.
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and effective patient care.
Requirements
* Current NMC registration.
* Proven experience as a Practice Nurse within primary care.
* Experience in managing QOF or specialized care, such as diabetes or long‑term condition management, is desirable.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
