ADMINISTRATOR - FULL-TIME, TEMPORARY (MATERNITY COVER – PRO RATA)

NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE (closing date: 17/10/2025)

What you'll be doing:

Key responsibilities

* Be the front-line administrator for BW Medical Accountants NHS Pensions Management Service
* Manage the client engagement process for new clients using Docusign
* Carry out Anti-Money Laundering Checks via Smart Search
* Request and scan necessary documentation from new clients and file this into client electronic files
* Request and scan client NHS Pension information and file this into client electronic files
* Use Microsoft Teams to ensure client is progressed in a timely manner without unnecessary delay
* Respond to client enquiries via email and telephone
* Provide telephone cover for whole organisation
* Any other duties as required for assisting NHS Pensions Manager

What you'll be able to demonstrate:

Essential Skills and experience

* Experience in an office environment
* Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise
* Meticulous and accurate with attention to detail
* Competent at writing emails in a professional manner
* Competent using Microsoft Office Packages; a good working knowledge of Outlook and Word is required with the ability to add, delete and format text and save changes
* Confident and pleasant telephone manner
* Professional and self-motivated

PLEASE NOTE THAT PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF THE NHS PENSION SCHEMES IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS ADMINISTRATIVE ROLE.

Desirable Skills and experience

* Experience in a Professional Services environment
* Experience of using Wolters Kluwer CCH Software
