What You’ll Be Doing as an Accounts Senior:
* Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
* Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
* Managing bookkeeping tasks and preparing monthly/quarterly VAT returns
* Compiling management accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis
* Building strong client relationships and handling queries efficiently
* Assisting in training and mentoring junior team members
* Supporting managers with ad-hoc accounting tasks
What We’re Looking For in an Accounts Senior:
* AAT/ ACCA/ ACA qualified.
* At least 6 years of experience in an accountancy practice
* Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
* Experience with accounting software such as CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or Alphatax (preferred but not essential)
* Excellent client relationship skills and a proactive work ethic
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
