Accounts Assistant Knowsley PERMANENT up to £26k DOE Forrest Recruitment LTD are seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established company in Knowsley, due to continued growth & expansion. This role presents a great opportunity to utilise and develop your skills in Credit Control, Purchase Ledger, and general accounts. Duties and Responsibilities: Receiving and processing of purchase invoices. Ensuring invoices are costed accurately. Verifying, matching, and placing of purchase orders. Maintaining accurate reconciliations of customer and supplier accounts. Dealing with any supplier/invoice queries in a fast and efficient manner. Assisting with month-end closing activities. Maintaining accurate paper and electronic records. Chasing high value debts by telephone and email. Taking payments over the phone. Answering incoming calls and emails and assisting with general queries, producing management reports, coordinating payment plans. Experience: Previous experience in Purchase Ledger, Credit Control, or similar Accounts role. Previous experience of working in a fast-paced office environment. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages and Sage. Selfmotivated, organised and attention-to-detail.
