Radiology in North Wales is a fast‑paced, ambitious and evolving service, delivering over 650,000 examinations each year across 18 sites, supported by a £30m budget and a multidisciplinary team of around 500 staff. Using advanced imaging technology and complex diagnostic pathways, Radiology plays a vital role in patient care across the region.

As one of three Radiology Service Managers, you will help shape imaging services across your area (West, Central or East). You will lead around 150 staff and manage a £10m budget, ensuring safe, high‑quality and efficient care across a district general hospital and community sites.

In this strategic leadership role, you will drive operational delivery and service development, lead and support non‑medical staff, and oversee training, performance and workforce planning. You will develop business cases, lead improvement projects and manage equipment installations.

You will implement Radiology‑wide protocols, act as a key liaison across hospital services and deputise for senior Radiology leaders.

You will ensure safe equipment provision, maintain appropriate staffing levels and fulfil Lead Radiation Protection Supervisor duties, including accurate and compliant use of RIS and PACS systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a forward‑thinking leader to drive innovation and make a meaningful impact on patient care across North Wales.
