A highly respected professional membership body based in Central London is looking for an experienced Editorial Manager to work on technical b2b content across multiple formats, including newsletters, contracts, case studies and website content. The role is hybrid, based in the London office at least one day per week with an excellent package including basic salary of up to £55k.
Working closely with the Head of Content, this is a hands-on editorial role with a strong focus on delivery - making sure content is accurate, consistent and delivered to a very high standard. You will work closely with subject matter experts who produce detailed, often highly technical material, and your role will be to refine, edit and shape this into clear, structured and accessible content for a professional audience; this will include producing concise summaries of longer documents, as well as leading on the commissioning, editing and delivery of newsletters, case studies and guidance materials. You will be responsible for copy-editing and proofreading to an exceptional standard, managing multiple pieces of content simultaneously, and ensuring all updates and revisions are accurately tracked and implemented. We are looking for someone with:
A strong editorial background within a professional/academic or B2B publishing environment
·Outstanding copy-editing and proofreading skills
·The ability to work with complex material and translate it into clear, well-structured content
·Experience working with subject matter experts
·Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally

·Confident working independently while collaborating across teams
Experience working with legal, contractual or highly technical material would be an advantage but not essential.
