We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Hertford. This is a highly rewarding role for someone who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social or emotional challenges. You will provide targeted one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils access the curriculum and develop confidence and independence. You will help create a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation. Monitoring progress, keeping records, and feeding back to teachers will be an important part of your role, ensuring pupils receive consistent and effective support. This role is ideal for someone with experience in SEN support or a strong interest in special education.
