As a Recovery Worker, we offer a starting salary of £24,150 with annual pay progression up to £28,252. (Dependent on experience, you may be offered a salary above the initial amount).

Role Responsibilities
Recovery workers act as ‘key workers’ supporting a caseload of service users, helping them set treatment goals and develop plans. Responsibilities include maintaining contact, offering advice, psycho-social interventions, assessments, risk management, and working with clinical staff and partner agencies. Effective communication, task management, and commitment to our values are essential. Candidates with lived experience or backgrounds in health and social care are encouraged to apply.
The Ideal Candidate
Understanding of substance and alcohol use, challenges, and recovery opportunities is preferred. Transferable skills from mental health, housing, or social care are valued. Flexibility, communication skills, and knowledge of relapse are important. Extensive training and support are provided, and we value creativity, initiative, and ideas for service improvement. Our Trainee Recovery Worker program offers entry-level positions for those without all experience.
