Summary:
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and adaptable Transport Planner to join our busy multi-drop distribution operation covering London and the surrounding areas. You will be responsible for planning efficient delivery routes, managing daily transport activities and ensuring compliance.
This is a Monday - Friday role, working Monday - Thursday 10am - 7pm and Friday 9am - 6pm (1 hour break).
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan multi-drop delivery routes to maximise efficiency and meet customer service level agreements.
* Ensure compliance to legislative requirements including Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
* Work closely with the team of Drivers, conducting briefs and de-briefs, managing their workloads and resolving any driver queries.
* Support the Transport Manager with compliance, audits and reporting.
* Liaise with the wider team to support transport activities and ensure that an excellent service is delivered to customers.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery performance and route efficiency.
