Role- Field Service Engineer
Salary- Circa £26,000 - £45,000 per annum but OTE is higher with travel
Type- Permanent
Location- Leicestershire
My client manufactures electro-mechanical equipment and they are looking to take on a Field Service Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Leicestershire area.
The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* NVQ / HNC / HND qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar or have the relevant experience
* Any previous field service experience working with electro-mechanical equipment would be desirable
* Good fault finding capabilities
* Previous experience working with drives, motors and CNC’s would be preferred
* Be self-motivated
* Good time management capabilities
* Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
* Have good communication skills
* Be flexible to travel in the UK and overseas as required
* Full UK Driving Licence is essential
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
* Working as a key member of the engineering service team
* Providing onsite maintenance and technical support
* Carrying out in house machine builds too
* Providing training of equipment on customer sites
* Travelling to a range of sites when required
* Communicating effectively with customers
* Be able to problem solve as required
* Conform to Health & Safety regulations at all time
