The Role:
The Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the business’s financial operations. This position involves preparing and analysing financial information, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and delivering valuable insights to support informed decision-making across the organisation.
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
* Lead the month-end process, including preparing management accounts and providing clear variance analysis.
* Report and communicate financial performance to stakeholders across the business.
* Manage key accounting processes including accruals, prepayments, VAT returns and reconciliations.
* Contribute to cost control, compliance, audit preparation and ad hoc financial projects.
Requirements of the Management Accountant:
* Qualified to AAT level or studying towards CIMA/ACCA, with a solid background in management accounting.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels.
* Proactive, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
