My client is seeking a permanent skilled Mobile Electrical Tester to join their team to cover the Hampshire and Kent area. You will be responsible for interpreting and working from drawings, schedules, and schematics to carry out electrical testing, inspection, installation, and maintenance tasks. You will order and collect necessary components, test and inspect electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance, and diagnose and resolve electrical system malfunctions. The role involves assembling, installing, and maintaining electrical equipment and fixtures, responding promptly to faults, diagnosing root causes, and rectifying issues. You will also conduct regular maintenance tasks and produce detailed reports, including electrical certification and documentation, often completed digitally. What You'll Bring Proven experience in electrical testing, maintenance, and installation. Time-served electrical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent). City and Guilds 2391 (2394/2395) in Testing and Inspection, or equivalent qualification. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to electrical work. Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance of Commercial/Industrial Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems. Prior experience completing electrical certification and reports digitally. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance. Good communication skills for reporting and liaising with stakeholders. This is a permanent position, paying up to 45k. What's in it for you?
