We are currently looking for a Tool Stores Operative to join our Kidlington production team.
As a Tool Stores Operative you will be responsible for providing tool deliveries to the production floor in accordance with the production plan (MES software), locating the tools, preparing the production paperwork and relevant mould pack while following all site procedures/polices and ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to.
Due to the nature of the role, this can be quite physical and it will require you being comfortable with using cranes and PPT equipment. Full training and sign off for these tasks will be given.
You will work under the management of our manufacturing department and closely with our production operational teams and tool room team to handle all tool requirements.
This is a fast paced, busy environment where no two days are the same. Organisation and constant communication with our team is essential to the success of the department.
Typical Responsibilities
* All required tools are taken to the production floor with the relevant production paperwork and mould packs in line with the set production plan.
* All tool returns are returned safely to the tool stores, placed safely in the correct location and all tool movements recorded in line with procedure.
* Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the tool stores and surrounding area.
* Ensure quality standards are maintained and "right first time" attitude is applied.
* Observe the company's site rules and regulations and ensure they are followed.
* Observe the company Health and Safety Policies and site standards.
* Undertake any other work as reasonably requested.
Required Skills and Experience
* Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft office, Outlook and Teams.
* Good level of numeracy skills.
* Self-motivated and positive attitude.
* Good level of English.
* Experience working in a similar role or a warehouse role.
* Strong Organisational and time management skills.
* Verbal and written communication skills.
* GCSE, high school education or equivalent.
* Knowledge of BPCS. (Desirable)
* Working Knowledge of PPT's. (A1) (Desirable)
* Working knowledge of Cranes. (Desirable)
* Operational experience in a warehouse stores environment. (Desirable)
* Experience of part making tools and machines. (Desirable)

This role is made up of a continental shift pattern (4-on-4-off days only) 7am to 7pm.
