I am currently looking for a Senior Buyer to procure raw materials and components for an established Manufacturer based in the Crewe area.
You will meet manufacturing schedules, helping to reduce costs whilst not affecting the quality of the range of products.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring purchased parts are to optimum value, required quality and delivered on time
* Purchasing raw materials and components to achieve the production schedule
* Developing appropriate plans to achieve objectives
* To monitor suppliers, ensuring corrective action as needed. To plan, hold and report on regular supplier meetings
* To take an overview of the raw materials process and MRO distribution component spend
Qualifications
Ideally CIPS / MCIPS qualified, you will have a manufacturing / engineering background, where you can showcase your understanding of the purchasing lifecycle for components and raw materials.
