Finance Assistant Vacancy - Middleton, Manchester - £26,500 plus profit share and BUPA
This is a full time, office based role
JW Lees have an exciting
opportunity to join the Finance Team as a Finance Assistant, based from
our Greengate Brewery in Middleton, Manchester.
Finance Assistant responsibilities:
* Bank Reconciliation
* BS Reconciliations including but not limited
to
o MH Floats
o Bank Accounts (including Euro account)
o Deposits
o Sales Unpaid
o Money Undeclared
o Fruit Machine Refills
* Checking and applying the correct coding and
VAT treatment to Managed House expenses
* Processing ad hoc bank payments
* Refund tracker
* Support with processing of purchase invoices
* Raising weekly purchase orders for all Retail
Operator sites
* Posting Managed House Paperwork
* Attending Area meetings
* Inductions and support with site managers,
including
Required skills/qualifications:
* Excellent communication, both oral and written
* Intermediate excel skills
* Studying AAT or the desire to do so
* Relevant experience in an accounting
environment
* Professional but personable
approach
* Be able to work within a high-pressure environment
* Be able to devise solutions to issues as they arise
* Ability to think outside the box
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
* Always demonstrate a can-do attitude
* Being driven and positive
* Ability to multi-task
* High level of organisation
* High level of motivation
* Ability to pay attention to detail and to work methodically and accurately
