Position Overview:
We are looking for Machine Operator to join our production team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the food industry and possess strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities:
* Set up, operate, and monitor machinery according to production requirements and safety standards
* Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and address any issues or defects
* Adjust machine settings to achieve desired product specifications and quality standards.
* Monitor production processes and adjust as necessary to maintain efficiency and product quality
* Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations
* Keep accurate records of production output, machine maintenance, and any incidents or issues that arise during operation
* Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and achieve production targets
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including regular cleaning of machinery and work areas
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably in the food industry
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
* Physical stamina and strength to lift, push, and pull heavy objects and stand for extended periods
