Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor required in Burgess Hill

An established commercial vehicle workshop is seeking a dedicated Parts Advisor to play a key role in their busy team in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. This is your opportunity to utilise your expertise, grow your career, and be part of a company that values its employees!
1. Hours: 42.5 hours per week
2. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with every other Saturday 07:30 am to 12:00 noon (overtime paid)

Main Duties of the Parts Advisor Include:
8. Identifying vehicle parts, picking, selling, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and processing orders and supplies
9. Proactively contacting potential and existing customers to upsell products and promotions
10. Liaising with suppliers for non-brand parts orders, ensuring accurate parts information on job cards for invoicing by the admin team
11. Utilising computerised parts systems and main agent catalogues effectively
12. Managing stock control, liaising with suppliers, and delivering parts as needed
13. Covering service parts counter when required
Essential Requirements for the Parts Advisor:
14. Strong knowledge of vehicle types and parts; HGV experience is preferable
15. Proven ability to build and grow customer relations
16. Confident with computerised parts systems and stock management processes
17. Experience handling warranty and following parts processes with attention to detail
18. Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
19. Organisational skills and the ability to work independently under pressure
20. Positive attitude with a proactive 'can-do' approach
21. Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team
22. Adaptability to implement change and drive sales
Desirable Requirements for the Parts Advisor:
23. Trailer product knowledge
24. Experience with Impact Parts System
25. Valid driving licence
26. Forklift licence
