We are seeking energetic, resilient, and enthusiastic Sports Coaches to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in specialist SEN schools across Bristol, Bath, and Weston-super-Mare from September 2026. The Role Working within SEN school settings, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties Communication and behavioural needs Your sporting background will help engage students through structured activities, positive behaviour support, and relationship building. Key Responsibilities Support students in the classroom and during physical activities Deliver engaging sports, movement, and wellbeing sessions Build positive relationships and act as a role model Promote confidence, teamwork, and social development Support behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation Work closely with teachers and SEN professionals to support learning outcomes What We're Looking For Experience coaching sports, fitness, or youth activities A positive, proactive, and resilient attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills The ability to motivate and inspire young people A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs Previous SEND experience is desirable but not essential.
