OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To perform secondary operations such as deburring, countersinking, and assemblies to a high standard. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES To deburr a variety of components by hand and using belt sanders To countersink and drill a variety of detailed precision sheet metal components using a pillar drill To punch and form precision sheet metal components using a fly press. To carry out assembly tasks on minor mechanical assemblies. Responsible for carrying out all tasks allocated by the Supervisor in a timely and efficient manner. Responsible for ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained. Responsible for ensuring that all Health & Safety Policies are adhered to. To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant within any Manufacturing area which includes Assembly, Machine Shop, and Fabrication. This is not an exhaustive list.
