Job Duties:
1. Assist in the classroom under the supervision of the lead teacher
2. Support students with their learning activities
3. Provide one-to-one support for students with special educational needs
4. Help with classroom management and behaviour
5. Assist in preparing educational materials and resources
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience, knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of classroom procedures, ability to work well in a team, good communication skills, patience and empathy, basic IT skills.
Working Conditions:
Work in a classroom setting within a private school, part-time hours, temporary position, potential for extension based on performance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
