We’re working with a well-established Building Services Consultancy looking to appoint an experienced CAD Manager to lead the production and coordination of high-quality MEP drawings across a diverse portfolio of residential, education, commercial, and refurbishment projects.
This is a key role within the business, supporting project delivery, maintaining drawing standards, and coordinating multidisciplinary Building Services designs.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Producing and coordinating 2D MEP drawings to construction level
* Managing AutoCAD drawings, models, worksets, and sheet standards
* Coordinating MEP layouts with architectural and structural teams
* Reviewing and coordinating work from an overseas CAD team
* Supporting and mentoring CAD technicians
* Maintaining QA, BIM, and document control standards
* Supporting engineers during project coordination and client meetings
What We’re Looking For
* 5–10 years’ experience producing MEP / Building Services drawings in AutoCAD
* Strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and public health coordination
* Previous experience within a UK Building Services or MEP Consultancy
* Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
* Strong communication and team coordination skills
* Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of construction documentation
Software
* AutoCAD (essential)
* Revit MEP and Navisworks (preferred)
* Microsoft Excel and Word
* IES (desirable)
