What You Will Do:
Design and develop pressure vessels, pressure pipework, and heat exchangers in accordance with industry standards such as ASME III, ASME VIII, PD 5500, and BS EN 12952.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and specifications.
Produce detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
Conduct design calculations and simulations to ensure structural integrity and performance.
Perform stress analysis and material selection for pressure vessel and pipework designs.
Review and improve existing designs to optimise functionality, cost, and manufacturability.
What You Will Bring:
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in mechanical design, specifically in the design of pressure vessels, pressure pipework, and heat exchangers.
Strong knowledge of ASME III, ASME VIII, PD 5500, and BS EN 12952.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork, and attention to detail.
