The Outpatient Waiting List Coordinator, for the Dietetic Service in NHS GGC, is a fast-paced role. You will work closely with dietitians and other dietetic support staff, including members of the Business Support Team for the Dietetic Service. If you are looking for a busy, rewarding position that supports the delivering of patient care, then this is the role for you.
This is essential role has responsibility for the management of out-patient waiting lists and appointments across several specialities and various hospital locations. The post holder will also undertake associated administration tasks. The post holder will be responsible for collating and reporting on waiting times and clinical activity to the Waiting List Manager. The role will include working collaboratively with the Dietetic Waiting List Manager to identify, implement and evaluate new ways of working to improve waiting times and appropriate patient access.
The role reports to directly to the Waiting List Manger for Dietetics and will liaise daily with Dietetic Clinical Team Leads to ensure the delivery of an efficient, patient centred dietetic service that delivers on both local and national targets.

As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
