Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled van driver to join our team.
This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to operate a van safely and effectively. If you are passionate about driving and delivering exceptional service, we would love to hear from you.
Working hours
Monday to Friday plus Saturday morning (48 hours per week minimum)
Start time: 06:00
Pay: £672.00, based on 48 hours, weekly
Clean licence preferred. Good highway code knowledge an advantage.
Responsibilities
* Operate a van safely and efficiently for deliveries.
* Ensure timely delivery of goods to various locations while adhering to traffic regulations.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition.
* Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
* Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
* Valid Class B driving licence.
* Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role an advantage.
* Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
