Brake Press Setter Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Brake Press Setter to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC and manual brake press machines to produce high-quality metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications. Key Responsibilities Set up and adjust brake press machines for production runs. Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions. Select and install appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings. Program and operate CNC brake press equipment where required. Perform first-off inspections and quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications. Monitor production runs and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards. Measure and inspect finished components using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment. Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues to minimize downtime. Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Complete production documentation and quality records accurately. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
