Specific Operational Focus
* Operational Technology & Manufacturing
* Working with 3rd parties to support and maintain OT hardware & systems
* Maintain Infrastructure environment to ensure manufacturing can operate without disruption
* Enforce cybersecurity practices & patching processes across IT/OT systems to maintain compliance with industry standards and corporate policy.
* Collaborate with group IT, factory managers, and equipment vendors to ensure systems meet operational requirements.
Operational performance
* Ensure effective operation of the infrastructure estate, including but not limited to:
o Server OS
o Patch Management.
o Virtualisation (VMWare)
o Group Policy.
o M365 (including exchange online).
o Active Directory / Entra ID
o Server Vulnerability Management.
* Providing on site "eyes" & "hands" for the Network team to support the swift resolution of network related incidents at manufacturing sites.
* Make sure operational services, hardware and software are delivered to agreed SLAs, where service does not meet these standards, put in place remedial action to correct.
* Ensure the server estate is being monitored for service performance and where problems are identified these are resolved within agreed SLAs.
* Ensure all appropriate system logs are available for ingestion into Security Operations Centre (SOC).
* Across all areas, ensure relevant hardware, software/firmware is within supported life. Work with vendors to obtain, schedule and implement updates.
* Working with the Senior Infrastructure Service Analyst enforce IT policy and procedure.
* Working with the Senior Infrastructure Service Analyst, support the infrastructure major incident resolution process for the server area and post incident review.
* Deliver third line support across factories for both back office and floor teams.
* Support the Senior Infrastructure Service Analyst & factory managers to contribute to business recovery plans and procedures ensuring that the server elements are periodically tested, documented and updated as required.
