They provide high-quality healthcare services to patients and are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Medical Administrator to join their friendly reception team.\n________________________________________\nJob Overview\nAs a Medical Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our reception and supporting the efficient delivery of services to our patients. You will work alongside a dynamic team and be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, providing excellent customer service and supporting the practice in day-to-day operations.\n________________________________________\nKey Responsibilities\nâ¢\tPatient Interaction: Provide face-to-face and telephone support to patients, answering queries and assisting with their needs in a professional and welcoming manner. \nâ¢\tAppointments: Book and manage patient appointments, ensuring smooth scheduling and effective use of resources. \nâ¢\tPrescription and Mail Handling: Process patient prescriptions and handle incoming and outgoing mail in accordance with practice procedures. \nâ¢\tSignposting: Direct patients to appropriate services within the practice or external healthcare providers. \nâ¢\tAdministrative Support: Carry out additional administrative duties as required, including filing, data entry, and general office tasks following in-house training. \n Dealing with patients at reception and by phone - Processing prescriptions and mail - Booking appointments - Signpostingâ to appropriate services - Other administrative duties following in-house training â¢\tCommunication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with patients and staff. \nâ¢\tIT Skills: Proficiency in using standard office software \nâ¢\tTeamwork: Ability to work well as part of a busy team, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to collaborate. \nâ¢\tInitiative: Ability to work independently and use initiative to resolve issues as they arise. \nâ¢\tTyping Skills: Good typing skills would be advantageous. \n\n
