Job Summary
The Technical Implementation Specialist is responsible for the successful technical implementation of products at customer locations. Individuals in this role will lead technical implementations to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will live in the Northeast part of the United States, preferably close to North Andover, MA.
Salary Range: $115,000 - $125,000 per year
Position is eligible to participate in a bonus plan with a target of 10% of the base salary. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including experience, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Our benefits are comprehensive and designed to support our colleagues' well-being.
Responsibilities
* Lead technical implementation with customer counterparts (IT, biomedical/clinical engineering/informatics).
* Support the implementation team in identifying, scheduling, and resolving technical installation and customization issues.
* Serve as the liaison between the customer and the Fresenius Kabi technical team for issues during implementation.
* Engage with customer's technical teams for joint solution development.
* Participate in customer technical support activities as needed.
* Gather and analyze data on installed systems for continuous improvement.
* Coordinate with the Implementation Project Manager to keep technical activities on schedule.
* Assist in product presentations and provide sales support, including participating in RFI/RFPs and demonstrations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define streamlined support solutions.
* Work with sales on prospect engagements and RFP responses.
* Travel up to 75% as required.
* Attend local, regional, and national meetings.
* Participate in other activities as assigned by management.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree required; Biomedical engineering preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; medical device experience preferred.
* Experience with FDA compliance is a plus.
* Deep experience with system installation and support in clinical settings.
* Extensive experience working with customers.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience providing professional services in clinical environments.
* Experience with hospital system integrations, including EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, Meditech.
* Experience with web interfaces, APIs, and enterprise systems.
* Knowledge of Wi-Fi, networking, remote access, VPNs, firewalls.
* Familiarity with SQL, report generation, and databases.
* Experience with regulatory compliance for medical devices.
* Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation.
* Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
