Solicitor – Healthcare Regulatory & Fitness to Practise – Manchester or Leeds – Up to £65,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits. An excellent opportunity to join a highly respected Legal 500 firm with a strong reputation in Healthcare Regulation and Professional Discipline.
Due to continued growth within the Healthcare Regulatory team, the firm is seeking an Associate / Solicitor (3+ PQE) to handle a diverse caseload of Fitness to Practise and regulatory investigations, acting for both private healthcare providers and NHS-linked bodies. You’ll manage matters spanning disciplinary investigations, NHSE proceedings, CQC enforcement and wider regulatory risk management, with opportunities to undertake advocacy and contribute to client training and supervision of junior team members.

Responsibilities
* Handle a diverse caseload of Fitness to Practise and regulatory investigations for private healthcare providers and NHS-linked bodies.
* Manage disciplinary investigations, NHSE proceedings, and CQC enforcement matters.
* Contribute to regulatory risk management for clients.
* Undertake advocacy where appropriate and contribute to client training.
* Supervise junior team members and build lasting client relationships.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor with 3+ PQE (description notes say 1+ years’ PQE in candidate section; this refined version presents 3+ PQE aligning with opening; please adjust if a mismatch is intended).
* Strong background in Healthcare Regulatory and Fitness to Practise matters.
* Confident managing a varied caseload from instruction to resolution.
* Commercial mindset with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to supervise junior colleagues and build lasting client relationships.
