We are recruiting for an experienced Despatch Coordinator.
This is an administration position, based on the shop floor of a very busy Engineering Company and would suit a dynamic person who is not afraid of hard work
Responsibilities:
1. To ensure all parts are shipped in line with specific customer requirements.
2. To pack and arrange shipping of components to sub-contractors and customers
3. Vibro Etch parts to specific customer's spec
4. Responsible for ensuring all stock is recorded and stored
5. Raise despatch notes, invoices and process appropriate paperwork
6. To ensure consumable stock levels are maintained
7. Maintain good communication, quality standards and health and safety
8. Other detailed ad-hoc tasks as required by the business support co-ordinator and wider management team
Key Skills and Experience:
Essential
9. Experience of working in a similar quality conscious high-speed environment
10. Neat and accurate handwriting
11. Accurately working to an agreed set of procedures
12. Computer literature with strong IT processing skills
13. Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times
Desirable
14. Knowledge of working Microsoft products
15. Some basic engineering knowledge
16. Experience of manual handling of high value items would be beneficial
17. Experience of daily target driven culture
18. Working in an environment with different competing priorities
Weekly hours:
Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm (39 basic)
Salary
£30,000 per annum - £35,000
