What You’ll Do
* Lead, coordinate and control design activities and technical services within the newly formed Engineering Solutions department.
* Provide a technical link between design, delivery, commercial, and procurement teams, ensuring design outputs meet programme, quality, safety, and commercial requirements.
* Identify opportunities to grow our design capabilities, helping to access new revenue streams.

Qualifications
* Proven highways design experience – ideally on maintenance or renewals schemes.
* Strong understanding of technical standards and construction methodologies.
* Experience with (or readiness to grow into) line management.
* Confidence in coordinating technical documentation and design reviews.
* A collaborative approach and excellent communication skills.
* Familiarity with digital design tools (a bonus).
* Degree or equivalent experience in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
* Chartership (ICE/CIHT) welcomed, not essential.
