About the Role: The Trainer is an operational role who which plans, teaches, and assesses learning. Alongside this is supports curriculum development and undertake relevant quality assurance activities. Responsibilities: · Teach learners effectively for a scheduled timetable of contact hours. This includes planning, delivery, assessment and tracking of learning. · Interview and provide initial assessment and guidance to learners · Monitor, evaluate and assess individual learner progress and achievement, including internal quality assurance as required · Undertake regular tripartite reviews at the employer’s premises. · Develop and lead courses under the supervision of a line manager · Contribute to the company’s quality initiatives including self-assessment, observation, appraisal and the mentoring and support of colleagues. · Provide schemes of work, lesson plans, tracking of individual learner progress and participate in the development of teaching materials and resources · Monitor learners’ attendance and progress · Provide additional learning support as appropriate · Contribute to and take up staff development opportunities · Assist with non-teaching tasks such as attending company events, exam invigilating, induction events and award ceremonies. · Assist in publicity and marketing of the company and its...
