Description
Maintaining vendor accounts.
Processing of purchase orders, goods received notices & supplier invoices.
Production of monthly, weekly and ad-hoc multi-currency payment runs.
Production of the weekly payment run during apple season.
Supplier statement reconciliations.
Reviewing aged creditors, resolving aged and incorrect items and controlling the month end closing process.
Reconciliation of insurance, council tax and all other standing order accounts.
Ensuring supplier queries are dealt with in a timely manner and resolved correctly and efficiently.
Filing of invoices and remittances.Profile
A successful AP Controller should have:
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial systems.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Previous experience in the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.Job Offer
