The successful candidate will be a key member of the Office of the Nurse Director with specific responsibility & accountability for providing efficient and effective support to both the Head of Quality and the Quality Directorate function within the Health Board.
This is an extremely fast paced and rewarding role, working across the Health Board to support the Head of Quality to maintain and implement new processes as well as identifying learning and sharing best practice to ensure that patients and families are able to receive the safest care possible.
You will report to and work alongside the EA to Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery as part of a dynamic team to provide high level administrative and secretarial services.
The successful candidate will be used to working at a senior level, and will demonstrate discretion, as well as excellent planning, organisation and communication skills.
Main duties of the job
The role will incorporate all aspects of PA support including: preparation for meetings; minute-taking in a variety of forums; complex diary management and email management. Acting as the first point of contact for the Head of Quality, providing advice and signposting for a wide range of matters and working autonomously in respect of allocated tasks.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and /or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent level of experience
* Diploma in Office Administration or experience to diploma level
* NVQ or equivalent in Administration
* Certificate in supervision or management
Experience
* Significant experience at a high level of providing a comprehensive administrative / PA service
* Familiar with office procedures and deadlines
* Previous experience of working as Administrator / PA to an Executive Director of equivalent
* Previous experience of working within the NHS
Skills
