As an Emergency Arrangements Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the site prepares for and responds to emergencies, working with internal experts, national regulators, and key external partners to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance with Licence Condition (LC)11 and other Health & Safety Legislation.
A trainee would be considered for this post at a salary range of £38,354 - £46,267

What You'll Be Doing
* Shape, review and maintain Emergency Arrangements documentation, ensuring full consistency across site operations
* Build strong relationships with external partners, representing Dounreay and the SAR at key meetings and forums
* Lead engaging training, assessment and appointment processes for emergency response personnel
* Coordinate and support site‑wide emergency exercises, while championing Security and Resilience culture across the organisation
Who We Are Looking For
* An HND (Science/Engineering/Business) or equivalent experience, supported by strong operational or site knowledge
* A confident, collaborative approach with the ability to influence and partner with a wide range of stakeholders
* Alignment with Dounreay’s behavioural expectations and readiness to participate in the Emergency on‑call rota
* Ideally, experience in planning or developing Emergency Arrangements, or the motivation to grow into this as a trainee
* Post specific capability analysis assessment
