Mobile Mechanical Engineer

A leading UK facilities and engineering services provider is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join their growing technical services team, supporting a portfolio of critical and industrial sites across the East Midlands region.
This is a field-based role delivering planned and reactive maintenance on a range of mechanical and building systems, offering long-term stability, strong support, and progression within a well-established organisation.
The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining mechanical plant and associated building services, ensuring assets are operating safely, efficiently and in line with statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical and building systems
2. Fault finding, repairs and minor modifications to equipment and installations
3. Reviewing work orders and estimating time and materials required
4. Ensuring compliance with health & safety, building regulations and site procedures
5. Supporting energy efficiency and system optimisation
