About the Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Financial Controller will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and driving performance across the business. You'll build strong partnerships with leaders in production, supply chain, and other key areas—while leading a small finance team to deliver accurate, timely, and commercially focused financial insight.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L and full balance sheet reconciliations.
* Own cash forecasting and working capital management.
* Oversee stock costing, providing accurate cost data for margin analysis and product decision-making.
* Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process.
* Prepare and present monthly performance analysis and management reporting—highlighting key risks and opportunities.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement and deliver actionable business insights.
* Provide commercial analysis on key business drivers such as profitability, efficiency, and operational gearing.
* Manage, coach, and develop a small finance team.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a curious, commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
* Experience in financial reporting and controls—ideally within a product or manufacturing-based environment
* Strong financial modelling and analysis skills
* A proactive, business-partnering approach with a genuine interest in supporting growth and strategic decisions
