Bar & Catering Supervisor
6-Month Temp Contract

Salary: £29,500
We’re recruiting a hands-on Bar & Catering Supervisor to support a busy University hospitality operation. You’ll lead a small team, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure smooth day-to-day running of the bar, kitchen and catering services.
Key Duties
* Recruit, train and supervise bar/catering staff
* Plan rotas and arrange agency chef cover when needed
* Support food preparation, cooking, presentation and service
* Complete pre-opening checks and maintain brand standards
* Ensure food safety, hygiene and H&S procedures are followed
* Monitor stock, order supplies and record wastage accurately
* Act as main client contact during service and handle complaints
* Follow financial procedures including cash and card handling
* Ensure licensing compliance and maintain cleaning schedules
* Open/close the facility and support across outdoor sport sites
Essential Skills & Experience
* Supervisory experience in hospitality/catering
* CIEH Level 3 Food Safety
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene and H&S
* Confident team leader able to work under pressure
* Customer service experience with problem-solving skills
* Good stock control and financial process experience
* Excellent communication and organisation
