What You'll Do
* Lead or contribute to the design and development of electronic systems for volume manufacture.
* Drive or support project delivery, ensuring best practice, quality and cost-effectiveness.
* Collaborate with suppliers, colleagues and stakeholders to engineer optimised solutions.
* Engage in schematic capture, PCB layout, testing and evaluation with lab equipment.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards, EMC/EMI best practice, and manufacturing techniques.
* Provide or receive technical guidance, supporting continuous improvement and team development.
About You
* Qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or similar)
* Knowledge or experience in embedded and power electronic design, simulation, microprocessors, analogue/digital design, actuators and motor control.
* Skills in schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium Designer an advantage).
* Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving ability.
* Experience in design software, Solidworks, LTSpice, (an advantage).
* Hands-on testing and evaluation experience.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Experience in designing for EMC compliance.
* Experience in designing for compliance and awareness of relevant Standards.
* For senior roles, you'll also have experience leading projects/teams, mentoring others, and shaping best practice across design and manufacturing.
