The Client:

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing engineering projects, supporting production, and driving innovation across mechanical and electrical systems.

The Duties:
8. Manage engineering projects within a manufacturing or production environment
9. Design, develop, and integrate mechanical and electrical systems
10. Oversee the lifecycle of production and test equipment
11. Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative maintenance strategies
12. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
14. Deliver clear documentation including plans, drawings, and risk assessments
The Requirements:
15. HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
16. Proven experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment
17. Strong hands-on engineering and fault-finding skills
18. Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholders
19. Excellent communication and documentation skills
20. Desirable: Proficiency in CAD (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD), knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma, experience with automation or PLC systems, and familiarity with equipment validation and compliance standards
