Summary
Care Support Worker role with UK visa sponsorship. Assist clients in home care, assisted living, and nursing homes at £12.21/hr. We are looking for caring and committed Support Workers to help people in a variety of settings, such as assisted living, nursing homes, and home care settings. The job includes helping clients with everyday tasks, ensuring their safety and fostering their well‑being. Candidates with expertise in senior care, dementia care or similar professions who truly care about helping others are highly encouraged. Responsibilities
* Help clients with personal hygiene activities such as dressing, grooming, and bathing.
* Assist patients with mobility and transfer requirements, including heavy lifting as needed.
* Follow prescription guidelines when giving medication and keep accurate records.
* Prepare wholesome meals in accordance with each person’s dietary needs.
* Encourage clients to participate in worthwhile activities to enhance mental and emotional health.
* Manage behaviour effectively, particularly when dementia or Alzheimer’s disease is present.
* Offer emotional support and companionship to lessen feelings of isolation or loneliness.
* Assist with home safety chores such as cleaning and laundry.
* Drive clients to appointments or excursions as required while maintaining safety.
* Use proper first aid and escalation procedures to respond quickly to crises.
Qualifications & Experience
* Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or nursing homes.
* Understanding of patient care methods such as hospice, geriatric care, dementia, and Alzheimer’s.
* First‑aid certification or training.
* Experience managing behaviour and administering medications.
* Familiarity with caregiving duties such as meal preparation and support tasks for children or families.
* Valid driver’s licence for safely transporting clients between venues.
Organisational abilities, a compassionate mindset, and the capacity to perform physically demanding duties are essential. Candidates should be dedicated to offering considerate, sympathetic assistance tailored to each person’s needs.
