We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly, hard-working Domestic Services team who provide a range of cleaning related duties across the hospice in a professional manner and to set procedures and high standards.
Responsibilities will include general cleaning tasks such as the disposal of refuse, high / low dusting, cleaning sanitary areas, wet mopping and the cleaning of patient equipment.
You should possess good communication skills and be able to prioritise and organise your daily duties, whilst maintaining a professional approach at all times. The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team is essential
Experience working with cleaning equipment and/or working within a healthcare setting would be an advantage, as would knowledge of COSHH, manual handling and infection control, although this is not essential as full training will be provided. You must be prepared to work shift patterns which also include weekends.
