Overview
My client, a global organisation connecting businesses through sustainability and technology-focused initiatives, is seeking a driven Business Development Executive to join their international sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded B2B salesperson who is fluent in Portuguese (and ideally Spanish) to work on their large-scale Brazilian event.
You’ll be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across key markets, building relationships with senior decision-makers, and helping global companies engage in purpose-driven partnerships.
Responsibilities
* Generate new business and manage outbound B2B sales activity across international markets.
* Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across global brands.
* Develop a deep understanding of the company’s sustainability-focused solutions and communicate their value to prospective clients.
* Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities through consultative sales approaches.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
* Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets and KPIs.
Requirements
* Proven experience in B2B sales.
* Fluency in Portuguese (essential); Spanish (advantageous); strong spoken and written English required.
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
* Target-driven, proactive, and confident engaging with senior-level decision-makers.
* Interest in sustainability, innovation, and global business trends.
* Based in or near Brighton, with the ability to work on-site.
* Experience in international sales or working with clients across multiple regions.
* Familiarity with sustainability, clean energy, or technology sectors.
* Uncapped commission – realistic double OTE potential.
* Flexible working hours with hybrid options (1–2 days WFH per week, based on performance and tenure).
