Role Overview
This is a pure growth role. You’ll own outbound sales, build senior relationships and close high‑value consulting and resourcing deals. If you thrive on hunting, pitching and winning—this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Win New Business
* Target and secure new clients across Finance, Energy, Retail, Tech, Manufacturing, Legal and Healthcare.
* Build, manage and convert a high‑quality sales pipeline.
* Drive outreach through LinkedIn, email, events and direct calling.
* Position Akoni as the go‑to partner for digital and cloud transformation.
Own the Deal
* Create compelling proposals and commercial packages.
* Negotiate MSAs, SOWs, rates and margins with confidence.
* Hit and exceed revenue and margin targets.
Engage Senior Decision‑Makers
* Build trusted relationships with CTOs, CIOs, Engineering Directors, Transformation Leads and Procurement.
* Represent Akoni at meetings, events and industry forums.
* Shape client solutions with Delivery Leads to meet real business needs.
Stay Ahead of the Market
* Track sector trends, competitor activity and emerging tech demands.
* Feed insights into Akoni’s commercial and service strategy.
Collaborate Internally
* Work with Delivery, Marketing and Bid teams to create winning propositions.
* Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline reports to leadership.
Skills & Experience
* Strong record of winning new clients in IT services or resourcing.
* Proven success in outbound sales and deal conversion.
* Confident negotiator with experience in MSAs, SOWs and commercial modelling.
* Excellent communication, pitching and relationship‑building skills.
* CRM and pipeline management expertise.
* Experience selling into mid‑market or enterprise clients.
* Knowledge of fast‑growth sectors: FinTech, SaaS, Energy, Digital Health.
* Experience selling both consulting projects and on‑demand resourcing.
