On behalf of a dynamic and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Stoke-on-Trent, we are seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior or Senior to join their expanding team. The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial services to a variety of owner-managed businesses. You’ll be working closely with clients, helping them understand and manage their financial data while also building strong, long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
* Producing management accounts and VAT returns
* Accurately processing financial records and bookkeeping entries
* Liaising with clients to support with financial queries and administrative tasks
* Using accounting software packages including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and IRIS (experience in any is advantageous)
* Ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and client service
You:
* Qualified AAT or actively studying ACA/ACCA
* Previous experience in a UK-based accountancy practice
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* A proactive team player with a client-focused approach
