Mechanical Fitter – Midlands
Sector: Water Asset Management (Civils, Mechanical, Electrical)

Job Purpose:
To perform mechanical operations maintennce and upgrades with high quality, efficiency, and minimal waste while ensuring a safe working environment for all colleagues. Largely worked within the Water and Civil Infrastrucrue industrty.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute general mechanical duties
Install mechanical equipment, including motors, gearboxes, and bearings
Fit steel support systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot unexpected or planned mechanical equipment malfunctions and devise effective solutions
Assist with other duties as needed, such as supporting an Electrician or Civils Engineer
Adhere to all company rules and procedures within the Health and Safety Policy relevant to the work being performed
Comply with all health and safety requirements and rules on site
Other Responsibilities:

Essential Qualifications:
Minimum of a Mechanical apprenticeship or level 3 Mechanical qualification
Desirable Qualifications:
CPCS Lifting Operations qualified
Current Confined Space training
CSCS Card holder
First Aid certification (desirable)
IOSH Health and Safety training
