Shift times: Flexible, including long days, nights, and weekends based on internal rotation.
We’re looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Surgical Inpatients team at the Wellington Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.
The unit provides care for pre- and post-operative patients across a range of specialties: plastics and breast surgeries, colorectal, gynaecology, bariatric, ENT, upper GI, urology, vascular, and general surgery.
As a Staff Nurse in our surgical unit, you will plan, deliver, and evaluate high standards of nursing care within a multidisciplinary team, supervising and directing junior and temporary staff.
You will demonstrate good clinical practice at all times, be accountable for your actions, and contribute to setting clinical standards, policies, procedures, research-based care, and practice development initiatives.
