SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary Special Needs School Salford We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary SEND school in Salford for an experienced and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in supporting young children with additional needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs, within a structured and nurturing primary school environment. The Role Supporting primary-aged pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small-group basis Assisting pupils with learning, engagement, and emotional regulation Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and differentiated activities Helping to maintain a calm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff Requirements Previous SEND experience - essential Primary school experience - desirable Enhanced DBS on the Update Service - essential Calm, patient, and nurturing approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice Why Apply?
